SG Arrival Card (SGAC)
Locator-Form.com is an independent, privately operated service, not a government website. Many official forms, including this one, can also be completed for free directly on the relevant government portal; we charge a fee for guided, reviewed applications.
The SG Arrival Card (SGAC) is an electronic declaration that most international travellers must submit before arriving in Singapore. It replaced the old paper disembarkation/embarkation card — commonly known as the white card — on 27 March 2020. The form collects your arrival information and includes an electronic health declaration. Submission is handled through the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and is completely free of charge.
What Is the SG Arrival Card (SGAC)?
The SGAC is an electronic pre-arrival form administered by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA). It serves two purposes: collecting travel and arrival information for immigration processing, and capturing your electronic health declaration under the Infectious Diseases Act. You can submit it through the SGAC e-Service at ica.gov.sg/eservicesandforms/sgarrivalcard or the MyICA Mobile app.
Who Needs to Complete It?
Travellers Who Must Submit
- All foreign visitors and tourists
- In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter holders
- Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents arriving by air or sea
- Long-Term Pass holders arriving by air or sea
Exemptions and Special Cases
Travellers transiting or transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance are exempt, as are Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents, and Long-Term Pass holders entering through the Woodlands and Tuas Land Checkpoints.
When to Submit
Submit your SGAC within three days before your arrival date, counting the day of arrival itself. Do not wait until you board — submitting early helps avoid unnecessary delays at the immigration counter.
What You Need Before You Start
Passport and Personal Details
- Full name as it appears on your passport
- Passport number, nationality, and expiry date
- Date of birth and a valid email address
Travel, Transport, and Accommodation Details
- Flight number or vessel name
- Intended date of arrival in Singapore
- Your accommodation address in Singapore
- Countries or regions visited in the 14 days prior to arrival
NOTE: Making a false health declaration is a criminal offence under Singapore's Infectious Diseases Act and may result in prosecution.
How to Complete the Form Step by Step
Access the Official Service
Go to the SGAC e-Service on the official ICA website or open the MyICA Mobile app. Select the correct traveller category — residents and Long-Term Pass holders submit the health declaration only, while foreign visitors submit both arrival information and health declaration.
Enter and Review the Information
Fill in your personal details, passport information, travel and transport details, accommodation address, and health declaration. If travelling as a family, use the Group Submission option to cover multiple travellers in one form.
Submit and Save the Confirmation
An acknowledgement email will be sent to the address you provided. Save this email or take a screenshot of the confirmation.
What Happens After Submission?
When you arrive at the checkpoint, present your passport to the ICA officer. Your SGAC is linked to your immigration record, and eligible foreign visitors will receive an Electronic Visit Pass (e-Pass) by email after clearance — this is separate from the SGAC.
How to Correct Errors or Retrieve the Confirmation
Use the "Update SGAC" feature on the SGAC e-Service to amend your submission if your accommodation address or health status changes. If you did not receive an acknowledgement email, check your spam folder first, then resubmit through the SGAC e-Service or MyICA app.
SGAC vs Visa and Other Entry Documents
| Document | Purpose |
|---|---|
| SG Arrival Card (SGAC) | Pre-arrival declaration of travel information and health status |
| Visa | Permission to seek entry into Singapore, required for certain nationalities |
| Electronic Visit Pass (e-Pass) | Official record of your approved stay, issued after immigration clearance |
The SGAC is not a visa, and submitting it does not guarantee entry into Singapore. Entry is always at the discretion of the ICA officer at the checkpoint.
